Hergen Tissue Machines: the fastest machines in Brazil

Hergen, a leading company in the paper industry, is proud to announce that two of its Tissue Machines hold the speed records in Brazil. Designed to operate between 2.000 and 2.200 m/min, these machines offer not only high production rates but also energy efficiency and low cost per produced ton.

Currently, the machines are configured to produce toilet paper and towels with grammages ranging from 14.5 to 28 g/m² with a paper width of 2.760 mm. These machines are part of Hergen’s AVANTIS line, which includes two other machine lines: the Smart, designed for smaller productions, more reduced spaces, and existing structures, and the EVO, focused on greater adaptability to the client’s energy matrix, offering an excellent cost-benefit ratio per ton of produced paper.

Focusing on high production to meet increasingly demanding markets, the AVANTIS line has two machines operating at speeds exceeding 2.000 m/min. The record-holding machine is the AVANTIS 18, with a cruising speed established at 2.100 m/min. This machine is equipped with a Ø 5.490 mm Smart Yankee Dryer, delivering 120 to 140 tons of paper per day. Another machine showing excellent performance is the AVANTIS 16, which operates steadily and consistently at 2.030 m/min. This machine is equipped with a Ø 4.880 mm Smart Yankee Dryer, delivering 110 to 120 tons per day at pope reel.

Hergen reaffirms its commitment to innovation and sustainability through its Tissue Paper Production Machines, which are recognized for their superior energy efficiency, improving thermal transfer by up to 30% and increasing production capacity. The Hergen Tissue Line machines, with the capacity to produce up to 140 tons per day, offer low operational costs and are highly customizable. These solutions demonstrate Hergen’s commitment and dedication to providing advanced technological solutions that enhance its clients’ competitiveness.
